UDL Aspect: UDL informs us that one of the main brain networks involved in learning is the                          Affective network.  Students learn materials best when the material is                          emotionally connected to them in some way, either through life experience,                          meaning, usefulness, motivation or other.  When instructors take the time to                          understand students’ feelings about their instruction, the affective network can                          be readily tapped into.  This survey helps students identify their feelings for the                          instructor.
