In 2002- 2005 RTC received a grant from the Department of Education to help students with Learning Disabilities learn better.

Through using UDL, we are helping ALL students be more successful students.
    
In 2005 the grant was extended for 3 more years to  include working with Bates Technical College and I.E.L.-Community Colleges of Spokane.
   
In 2007, seven more partners came on board:

         IEL-Airway Heights, Community Colleges of Spokane
         IEL-Colville Center, Community Colleges of Spokane
         Heritage University
         Highline Community College
         Peninsula College
         Tacoma Community College
         Whatcom Community College.
